Presence worldwide

Colas Rail was established in the Asean region in 2011 with the installation of an office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, now the HQ for the region.

History of the subsidiary

Colas Rail Asia was initially settled to undertake the Kelana Jaya LRT Extension Project in Malaysia. After the successful delivery of the Kelana Jaya Line (KLJ) Extension Project in Kuala Lumpur on June 2016, Colas Rail is now involved in the Power Supply Package of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line (MRT2) in Kuala Lumpur.

On the back of the two projects delivered in Malaysia, Colas Rail Asia has developed a strong Power Supply Design Team creating a centre of excellence in Asia for Power Supply for AC & DC, HV and LV. This centre of excellence is available to support the whole Group worldwide in Power Supply System design and engineer.

One facet of the centre of excellence is the ability to create the design in BIM Level 2 and coordinate with other systems.
