Campus Fer

Campus for jobs in the railway sector.

History of the subsidiary

When it was founded some ten years ago, the training body mainly offered training courses for train drivers and ground agents to meet the needs of the FREIGHT Agency. In 2015, it was attached to ASP (Annonce Sécurité Pilotage) and the courses were increased to offer 35 training modules, and opened to other railway companies.

Since 1st January 2019, training has been attached to Colas Rail head office and become CampusFER, offering more than 60 training modules with a growing part of its activity designed for other railway companies in the railway sector.

Presentation

CampusFER’s offer today covers the various railway professions: railway-related risks, electrical risks, driving, ground operations, ensuring safety on railway sites (TES M, S9A1, S9A3), tracks, overhead lines (CH1-CB1, overhead line assembly), as well as training in documentation management (ARTIC), SST and Movements and Postures for personnel on site in a railway environment … Or again, training on nacelles and hi-rail excavators.

CampusFER is developing by digitalising its training courses, notably on innovative tools such as a virtual reality driving simulator, a virtual reality module for the RAT, by developing e-learning modules and using gamification tools that make the courses more dynamic.
