Since its creation in 2017, OFC (Obras Ferroviarias de Chile), a Chilean company 50% owned by Colas Rail, has worked hand in hand on the track maintenance project and on the construction of new lines for the Metro of Santiago.
On March 12, OFC won the Trophy for the Best Contributor in France-Chile Commercial Relations, awarded by the Franco Chilean Chamber of Commerce.
This prize rewards the company that has contributed the most to the economic relationship between France and Chile in 2019. It was awarded by the Vice-Minister of Telecommunications Pamela GIDI MASIAS on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce.
Thanks to this collaboration of two French leaders who have joined forces and shared their expertise and equipment, this tricolor association has made it possible to take up many challenges in Chile, such as the construction of Lines 3 and 6, the extension of the line 2 of the Santiago Metro as well as the maintenance of all its lines.
