A graduate of ESCP Business School, Karine began her career in 2000 at TF1 in Business Development, before moving to the Business Affairs division.

She then joined Bouygues Telecom, where she held several senior roles in management accounting, before becoming Head of the Corporate Finance Department.

In 2014, she joined the Bouygues Group in Investor Relations, becoming Director in 2016. She was subsequently appointed General Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Bouygues Energies & Services in 2022.

From 2024, she joined Equans, where she held senior roles in financial transformation and subsequently in risk management, internal control and audit.

In 2026, Karine Adam Gruson joined Colas Rail to take up the position of Finance and Administration Director.
