Colas Rail Ltd. was in charge of building the extension of the Docklands Light Railway in London, which runs between the King George V Dock station and Woolwich Arsenal. This project involved trenches, excavations with shouldering walls, tunnels in covered trenches and bi-tube tunnels under the Thames housing the railway tracks and signalling circuitry.
The project included supplying the new Woolwich Arsenal station, situated in the heart of Woolwich, near an existing Network Rail station. These two stations are now linked together.
