Belgian high-speed lines – Lines 1, 2 and 3

Colas Rail participated in the production of three of Belgian’s four High-Speed Lines.
Line 1 is the first stage of the project and links the French frontier to Brussels. Line 2 links Brussels and Liege, and finally Line 3 goes from the city of Liege to the German border.
For lines 1 and 2, the “island method”, invented by Colas Rail, with the supply (by works trains) of rails, sleepers and ballast, was used for these works.
